SKELETONS & SKULLS SCARY HALLOWEEN DECOR
Some scary ways to decorate your house for Halloween involve the use of skeletons and skulls. Halloween skulls and skeletons on the market today basically either look cute & whimsical or scary & creepy. When shopping, consider if the skeleton seems to be smiling or grimacing – a meaner looking skeleton will give more of a scary vibe.
I like the idea of using a large glass hurricane or vase and small decorative skulls. Place decorative Spanish moss or vase filler around the skulls to create a creepy Halloween look that is prefect for a sideboard, coffee table or kitchen counter vignette.
Having skeletons coming out of the ground is another scary way to decorate for Halloween. These work well against a black metal fence as part of a graveyard setting. Or consider having them sit on your front porch or laying in a flower bed. Whichever way you use them, be sure to use some spooky lighting on them at night for the full effect.
