20 BIZARRE HOUSEHOLD USES FOR OLD TEA BAGS (YOU DIDN’T KNOW)

Simply use a couple of old tea bags to make a brew. Then use this every day as a regular mouthwash. It is natural, freshens breath, and is gentle on the gums and teeth. Remember, no sugar added!

9. HAIR CONDITIONER

The herbs in a tea bag have many benefits for your entire body. It is also great 😊 to use as a hair conditioner. Make a small pot of tea then allow it to cool. After shampooing your hair. Use this to condition your hair by rubbing it in.

The natural herbs in tea make a wonderful hair conditioner and scalp treatment. Do this each time you wash your hair. You won’t believe the results.

Open a tea bag and sprinkle the leaves in your compost and around the root of your plants. Teas bags are packed with nitrogen causing the carbon materials to balance in the soil. Your plants will grow healthy and strong.

You can use a teabag to add color to your hair. The black tea will give your hair a lovely brown color. Hibiscus tea bags will leave your hair with a beautiful red color.

Simply make a cup of tea using 3 tea bags. Allow to cool and rub into your hair. Leave in for 45 minutes before rinsing. Works best on light color hair. How wonderful is that?

Keep your trash bin fresh for a long time with this simple trick. Place used tea bags in your garbage bin to disguise the bad odor. Teabags can also maintain the fresh odor of your bin.

20. TENDERIZE YOUR MEAT

Black tea is known by the best chefs in the world as a great source for making the toughest of meat tender.  Place 3 to 4 bags in 3 cups of water.

Pour the brew along with the tea bags over the meat. Allow 2 to 3 hours to marinate then remove, season, and cook.
