How To Tie Hair While Sleeping At Night

 1. Remove Your Hair Extensions

We all admire those hair extensions. They make your hair so beautiful and shiny but sleeping with it can have dire consequences.

They can cause tingling and pulling to the extensions as well as damage your natural hair due to the friction that would exist between the hair extensions and your pillow while you are asleep.

We usually wash our hair before going to bed to sleep, but what most of us don’t know is that our hair is very vulnerable to breakage and damage when it is wet.

with a hand dryer would go a long way to protecting it. It can be a quick blow dry. Nothing too drastic

 3. Brush Hair

Brushing the hair would make it easier for you to wrap it or tie it before going to bed. Brush it gently for a few minutes.

4. Moisturize The Hair

Take a little amount of moisturizing oil and apply at the bottom part of the hair.

For best results, do not use water-based moisturizer if you have straight hair though because it would make them curly but if you have curly hair, then you are good to go.

Then after this, you can then brush the hair from the side. Brush one hand and bring it to the other side.

Different Styles Of Tying Hair Before Sleeping

 1. The Bonnet Style

For the bonnet style, you use a hair scarf.  Fold your hair scarf into two. Wrap it around your hair. Tie it from underneath the hairline but in the middle.

This would ensure the hair doesn’t come in contact with your pillow but at the same have sufficient freedom to avoid it becoming frizzy in the morning when you wake up.

Tie the scarf in such a way that the back of the scarf is left free. Then from the end of the scarf, fold the or curly it severally and bring it to the front of the hair and tie it again.

 2.  The Pineapple Method

For this method, you are going to make use of the scarf as well. Fold your scarf in such a way that the edge of it forms a “v ” shape. Then take the “v” shaped edge to the back of the hair.

Bring the side of the scarf to the front of the hair and tie it.  The space in the middle of the veil would allow the hair to be pointed out in pineapple shape. Hence the name.

Use your hands to push the hair inside and fold the headscarf under the scarf line.

 3. Circle Or Hollow Style

This style is for straightened hair, mostly. You don’t need a scarf for this style, but you would need a hairpin though. To hold the hair in place.

Start by brushing the hair you usually do. Then apply a small amount of moisturizing oil and apply it to the lower half of the hair. After this, brush the hair from side to side.

Then take the top extension and brush it from one side to the other side. Take another section of the expansion and touch the same way you did the first one.

Smoothen it with your brush to make it tidier. Always hold the hair down to make it easier to brush.

After a few minutes, the hair would look as if it is a circle. Hold it with a hairpin and smoothen it with your brush.

After this, you are good to go to sleep with your straightened hair intact.

 4.  Low Pineapple And Scarf

Low pineapple is just a loose hop on top of the hair.

Use a scrunchy but if your hair is small use a thin one. Use the big ones because they would ensure that no hair escape through and hold the hair in place.

Then bend down and bring all your hair to the front. Hold it in place at the front with your hand and wrap it with your scrunchy just once.

Please remember to be gentle when gathering your hair to the front so you won’t break the tighter hair at the lower part of the hair.

The next part is to use a scarf. Bring the scarf together in a diagonal pattern.

Then take the longer part and to the back of your hair. Bring your hair down and tie the scarf at the front of the hair underneath the scrunchy. Take the two sides of the scarf and tie it at the back as well.

Some people like to use the bonnet after the scrunchy, but the scarf is more secure.
